Out with the old in with the new – a new build house in Brixton, Central London

We are excited to announce that we are about to start taking down this once rather proud little Victorian terrace and to replace it with a shiny new version in the heart of the super cool Brixton town centre.

Our very brave clients have spent a year preparing for this point so we are excited to be helping them produce a soon to be family home for themselves and their two young children.

It’s been a brave undertaking as it was bought unseen at auction (P&V live and work in Turkey at the moment), was squatted for many years and left to delapidate to the state it now is. It is, in all honesty, impossible to restore so the only re-course for them was to start again.

Many people would have recoiled at this point but our clients determination is such that we are now primed to get going.

Several planning applications, inordiante toing and froing with Party Wall Consents has eventually led us to the point were we can actually start building, well demolishing to be more precise, a good 12 months after the property was bought!

We are happy to be on board – and hope over the next couple of months to be bringing you the highs (and inevitable lows) of building a new town house in the heart of London.

Watch this space as we take you through the building process from delapidated wreck to a brand new family home……
